Which Guitar Should I Get – A Les Paul Or A Schecter S-1 Elite, Like The One Zacky Vengance Has From A7x?
Like was said before, you need to play both. But 2 things to consider: The Schecter has high output humbuckers so it’s hard to get any “vintage” sweet tones like on a LP with alnico vintage pick-ups. And – re-sale – a Gibson LP will hold its value should you decide to sell it.

It’s subjective…(but I would go with the S-1 Elite…Les Paul’s are all talk and no walk, in my humble opinion…)
THAT’s the one to get…
Whichever one sounds the best to you and whichever one you like to play the most… NEVER buy a guitar just because someone SAYS it’s good… you have to PLAY it to know.
